![]() ![]() ![]() Inspired by a slew of different horror novels and the folk tales that whispered their way around the Pacific Northwest, this first-person adventure sees you attempting to uncover the mysteries surrounding a particularly cursed looking area of forest. Pacific Drive nails the feeling of dread as you drive around, looking for clues. ![]() Yet while the slightly beat up set of wheels took centre stage in all the trailers, this first-person project isn’t really a charming vehicle-first romp but an adventure where your car is the only thing keeping you from an early grave. Part survival game, part narrative-led horror, you may recognise Pacific Drive as “that weird nightrider car game from E3”. ![]() In reality, Ironwood Studio’s forest opus is something far more sinister. The deadzone is something like this, I forgot to put an image. When I sat down to play Pacific Drive at WASD, I mistook it for an atmospheric walking simulator. And there are people who have the balls to say the PC version controls better lol But I think it's generally acceptable and much better than the dead zone for the Heroes PC port.ĭoesn't surprise when people say the Mech controls are stiff and clumsy, they play these HD ports that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the precision by adding an unnecessary deadzone in the directionals, if I'm moving the stick a bit to the sides then I want the character to move a bit to the side not straight foward, and if I move just a bit more the character instantly walks on a diagonal, why Sega - īut anyway, No I'm not using those presets that maps to the keys, even though I'm saying it feels like a Keyboard, it' not THAT much, I can still do small turns with Mechs, but I need to move much more to the sides, it's not as precise as the original. Otherwise yeah, I agree the dead zone is not ideal and a mod similar to the input mod for SADX would be nice. F-Man a écrit :It's possible you could be using a fan made controller configuration that assigned the joystick to key presses (Manage > Controller configuration). ![]()
